SHOWREEL 2016 v1 – Cinematography & Photography

I have a new showreel, SHOWREEL 2016 v1

I have had about 4 years off work with family care commitments. But I have been back at work, starting to rebuild my client list and buying lots of great new kit for about a year. And so the new showreel is to signpost the re-launch of my carear. I am excited and looking forward to doing ever bigger and better things in the future.

Cinematography and Photography. 60 seconds of my pictures over music. Keeping it short and simple.

It incudes mainly material from recent projects. But there is a little legacy material, to better illustrate my range of skills and experience, and to include the award winning productions I shot as DP.

1, WW1 feature film, funding teaser, entitled Jack’s War.

2, Documentary style corporate about an amazing recreation of the legendary 1960s Jaguar XJ13 racing car.

3, Broadcast documentary about Mecca and new archealogical evidence, The Sacred City.

4, Corporate promotional films for a wonderful local charity, Tees Valley Arts.

5, Romantic comedy short, Choosing Juliet, by The Griffin Partnership.

6, Commercial for Hyundai.

AWARD WINNING PRODUCTIONS, I shot as Director of Photography:

7, FEAR, which won the Royal Television Society award – Best Broadcast Promotional 2004

8, KNOW THE FACTS, which won the Royal Television Society award Best Broadcast Promotional Production 2005, the Saville Audio Visual Trophy and the Channel 4 Best Short Film award 2005.

9, Photographs of some pretty cars from my Classic Cars Portraits (international) portfolio.

One of the firms I have been working with recently is Glasshouse Media. I have worked as Director of Photography on some of their projects. And they have helped me with on line video editing on some of my film projects. Glasshouse’s David Scott is a great editor and I am delighted that he agreed to edit a selection of my work into a showreel for me. He is truely very good.

I will be adding to and renewing the showreeel as the avaialbility of new appropriate work makes this possible. Likely on an annual basis.

Onwards and upwards.
